Product description:
For more than 30 years, we are producing grates for the ship and yacht construction, for caravan and home and garden. For this, we use selected woods, mainly from teak. But gratings can also be order in Kebony- or irokowood.
Orders can place according to dimensions sizes or templates. Whether as a single piece or as a series production.
For many types of ships we also offer ready-made gratings. Please take a look therefor in the product area under -> series yachts.
The production:
The gratings can be obtained in 22mm thickness, with optional 10x10mm, 20x20mm or 30x30mm cuboid holes.
The cubed surfaces arise from over-lathed wood strips. The connections to the frame moldings are dowelled.
All glues are waterproof (wbp). All surfaces are finely fine sanded and the outer edges are rounded.
On request, we put your grating on rubber buffers, for a better water drain on the bottom. The delivery is wood natural without any varnish.

The calculation:
Calculation basis is always largest length x largest width of the surface.
Frame moldings
Often there is the wish, that the frame molding should have the same width's all around. We can not recommend this, because the holes of the grates are often dicing by cut. It is better to let the grate holes finish on a full hole, even if it means that the frame moldings widths are different.
Due to the doweling between the diced surface and the frame moldings, the frame timbers can only be used up to a max. of 45° obliquely to the cubed surface. If you have a round grating, then the frame timbers are attached as an octagon to the cubed surface.
